Solution

The correct option is D CH3COONa
The aqueous solution of NaCl and Na2SO4 will be neutral because both salts are formed from strong acid and strong base. NaCl is formed from NaOH and HCl and Na2SO4 is formed NaOH and H2SO4. But CH3COONa is formed from weak acid CH3COOH and strong base NaOH. So hydrolysis of CH3COONa has been taken place to give OH().
CH3COO()+Na(+)+H2O=CH3COOH+Na++OH().
So answer will be C.
