Let the length of unknown parallel side be $x$
Given, Area of trapazium $= 34 c m^{2}$ and height $= 4$ cm

We know.
Area of trapazium = $\frac{1}{2}$ x (sum of parallel sides) x height
$\Rightarrow 34 = \frac{1}{2} (10 + x) 4$
$\Rightarrow 17 = 10 + x \Rightarrow x = 7 c m$

The length of other parallel side is $7$ cm.
