The area and height of the trapezium are 34 cm2 and 4 cm. One of its parallel side is 10 cm. Find the length of other parallel side.

Let the length of unknown parallel side be x
Given, Area of trapazium =34 cm2 and height =4 cm

We know.
Area of trapazium = 12x (sum of parallel sides) x height
34=12(10+x) 4
17=10+xx=7cm

The length of other parallel side is 7 cm.
