The area covered by the orange colour is 4 sq.cm more than the pink colour. Find the area of 1 square grid.

Area covered by pink colour = Area of 5 square grids
= 5 × area of 1 square grid
Area covered by orange colour = Area of 7 square grids
= 7 × area of 1 square grid
Difference between their area
= 7 × area of 1 square grid - 5 × area of 1 square grid
= 2 × area of 1 square grid
4 sq. cm = 2 × area of 1 square grid
Area of 1 square grid = 4 ÷ 2 = 2 sq.cm
