Perimeter of square $=$ Perimeter of rectangle
$\Rightarrow 2(L+B)=2(48+16)m$
$=128m$
$\therefore$ Each side of the square $=\frac{128}{4}m=32m$
Area of the square $=(32\times 32)m^2=1024m^2$
