The area of 4 walls of a hall is $320 m^{2}$ . The length and breadth of the hall are 12.5 m and 7.5 m respectively. Find the height of the wall? [3 MARKS]

Concept: 1 Mark
Application: 2 Marks

Let the height of the wall be x.

$= 2 (l h + b h)$

$= 2 (12.5 x + 7.5 x)$

$= 2 (20.0 x)$

$= 2 (20 x)$

$= 40 x s q u a r e u n i t s$ .

Given
$40 x = 320 m^{2}$

$∴ x = \frac{320}{40}$

$x = 8 m$
