The area of a circle is 1381 m2. Find its circumference.

Open in App
Solution

Let the radius of the circle be r m.
Then, area = πr2 m2
πr2 = 1386
227×r×r = 1386
⇒ r2 = 1386×722 = 441
⇒ r = 441 = 21
⇒ Circumference of the circle = 2πr m
= 2×227×21 m = 132 m
