The correct option is A 9π m2
Let BC=17 cm, AB=8 cm and AC=15 cm
Area of ABC=12×15×8
=60 cm2
Let r be the radius of a circle
OD=OE=OF=r
Area of AOB=12×AB×OD
=12×8×r
=4r cm2
Similarly,
Area of AOC=12×AC×OE
=12×15×r
=15r2 cm2
And
Area of BOC=12×BC×OF
=12×17×r
=17r2 cm2
Now,
Area of ABC= Area of AOB+ Area of AOC+ Area of BOC
60=4r+15r2+17r2
120=8r+15r+17r
40r=140
r=3 cm
Area of circle =πr2
=π(3)2
=9πcm2
