Solution

The correct option is A

12cm

A parallelogram is a two-dimensional geometrical shape, whose sides are parallel to each other. The area of the parallelogram depends on the base which is one of its parallel sides and height. The perimeter of a parallelogram depends on the length of its four sides.

Given

Area of parallelogram =60cm2

Length of its altitude =5cm

The area of a parallelogram = base × altitude

60=base×5base=605cmbase=12cm

Therefore the length of one of its corresponding sides is 12cm

Hence, option A is correct
