Given:
Area of the rectangle = 14.295 sq ft
Width of the rectangle = 1.5 ft

We know:
Area of a rectangle=Length×Width

Substituting the values of the length and area in the formula, we get:

14.295=Length×1.5

Length=14.2951.5

To remove the decimal point in the divisor, we multiply both the numerator and the denominator by 10.

Length=14.295×101.5×10=142.9515
