$\Rightarrow 56=l\times 7$

$\Rightarrow l=8cm$

Hence, the length of rectangle is 8 cm .

Step -2: Find the perimeter of the rectangle

Perimeter of rectangle = $2(length+breadth)$

$=2(8+7)$

$=2\left(15\right)$

$=30cm$
