Given, L=2B+5 ....(1)Also given L×B=75 ....(2)

Substitute value of L in equation (2),

(2B+5)×B=75

⇒2B2+5B−75=0

⇒2B2+15B−10B−75=0

⇒B(2B+15)−5(2B+15)=0

⇒(B−15)(2B+15)=0

⇒B=5,B=−15/2rejected

Thus B=5 units

(2B+5)×B=75

⇒2B2+5B−75=0

⇒2B2+15B−10B−75=0

⇒B(2B+15)−5(2B+15)=0

⇒(B−15)(2B+15)=0
