The area of a rectangular field is 1600sqm. If the length of the field is 80m, find the perimeter of the field.

Step 1: Finding the breadth of the rectangular field -

Area of the rectangular field = 1600sqm.

Length of the field = 80m

Let the breadth of the field = xm

Area of the rectangular field = length×breadth

80×x=1600x=1600÷80x=20m

Hence, the breadth of the field is 20m

Step 2: Finding the perimeter of the rectangular field -

The perimeter of the rectangular field = 2×length+breadth

= 2×(80+20)

= 2×100

= 200m.

Hence, the perimeter of the rectangular field is 200m.
