Length of the rectangular field $= \frac{340}{17} = 20 m$
STEP 2 : Finding the perimeter of the rectangular plot
Perimeter of the rectangular plot $= 2 \times (l + b)$
Perimeter of the rectangular plot $= 2 \times (20 + 17) = 2 \times 37$
Perimeter of the rectangular plot $= 2 \times 37 = 74 m$
Hence, the length of the rectangular plot is $20 m$ and the perimeter is $74 m$
