Area of a square = side2
Here, area of the square is given as 16 cm2.
42=16, we can say that side of the square is 4 cm long
Length of the rectangle =2×4 = 8 cm and breadth of the rectangle = 0.5×4 = 2 cm
Now, area of the rectangle = length×breadth = 8×2 = 16 cm2

We know that 1 cm = 10 mm

Area of rectangle = 16 cm2 = 1600 mm2
