16 cm2


Area of square = side× side = 16 cm2
4×4=16
side of square = 4 cm
Length of rectangle =2×4 = 8 cm and breadth of rectangle = 0.5×4 = 2 cm
Area of rectangle = length×breadth = 8×2 = 16 cm2

We know 1 cm = 10 mm

Area of rectangle = 16 cm2 = 1600 mm2
