Area of square = $s i d e \times s i d e = 16 c m^{2}$
$\Rightarrow$ side of square = $4 c m$
$∴$ Length of rectangle = $8 c m$ and breadth = $2 c m$
$∴$ Area of rectangle = $8 \times 2$ = $16 c m^{2}$
