Solution

Given that
Area of a square park = Area of a rectangular park.
The measure of one side of square park =60 m

Area of the square park = (60×60)m2=3600m2
Length of the rectangular park =90 m

The area of the rectangular also should be 3600 m, because its area is equal to the Area of the square park.

Length × Breadth = 3600
90× breadth =3600
breadth =360090

breadth of rectangular park =40 m

perimeter of a square =4a=4×60=240 m.

perimeter of a rectangle =2(l+b)=2(90+40)
=2(130)
=260m
