The area of a trapezium is 105 cm2. If one of the parallel sides is 28 cm and the distance the parallel sides is 5 cm, find the length of the other parallel side.

Given, Distance between the parallel sides= 5cm
One of the parallel sides= 28cm
Area of a trapezium =105cm2

Let the other side be x cm
Area =12×sum of parallel sides×distance between them
105cm2=12×(x+28)×5
x+28=105×25=42
x=4228cm=14 cm
