The area of a trapezium is 180 $c{m}^2$ and its height is 9 cm. If one the parallel sides is longer than the other by 6 cm, the length of the longer of the parallel sides is

Area of trapezium = 180 $c{m}^2$ and height (h) = 9 cm
Sum of parallel sides = $\frac{Area\times 2}{Height}$
= $\frac{180\times 2}{9}=40cm$
But longer sides is greater than shorter side by 6 cm
Longer side = $\frac{40-6}{2}+6$
= 17+6 = 23 cm
