Area of trapezium $= \frac{1}{2} (a + b) h$

$540 = \frac{1}{2} (a + b) h$

$\frac{540 \times 2}{18} = a + b$

$60 = a + b$

$60 = 5 x + 7 x$

$60 = 12 x$

$5 = x$

$∴ 7 (x) = 35$ and $5 (x) = 25$

Sides are $= 35$ & $25 c m$
