Let the parallel sides of the trapezium be a and b.
One of the sides (a) = 200 m
The distance between two parallel sides = 10 m.
Area of the trapezium field = 1200 m2

Area of the trapezium=12×(Sum of the length of the parallel sides) ×(Distance between the parallel sides)

1200=12×(a+b)×10

1200 × 210=(a+b)

a+b=240

b=240200 (Since one of the parallel sides measures 200 m.)b=40 m

Length of the other parallel side=40 m
