1m=100cm 1m2=1m×1m=100cm×100cm
=10,000cm2
The area of the wall = 10m×9m=90m2=9,00,000cm2
The are of a tile = 18cm×20cm
= 360cm2
The number of tiles needed = The area of the wall ÷ the area of a tile
9,00,000cm2÷360cm2
= 2500 tiles
