Let ABCD be the square of side 10 cm

Now, in right angled triangle ABC we have

AB2+BC2=AC2, AC being the diagnol.

AC2=102+102AC2=200AC=102

Now this AC is diameter of the circle

So Diameter=102

2r=102r=52

radius of circle is 52 as

Area of circle will be πr2=π(52)2

= 50π cm2
