The area of parallelogram and square are same, If perimeter of square is 160 m and height of parallelogram is 20 m, find the length of corresponding base of parallelogram.

Given area of square and parallelogram are some.

Area of square =S×S

perimeter of square =4×S

160m=4×S

1604=S

S=40cm

Area =40×40=1600m2

Area of square =1600m2

Area of parallelogram=Base×height

1600=B×20

160020=B

B=80

corresponding base of the parallelogram is 80m.
