The area of parallelogram and square are same, If perimeter of square is $160$ m and height of parallelogram is $20$ m, find the length of corresponding base of parallelogram.

Given area of square and parallelogram are some.

Area of square $=S\times S$

perimeter of square $=4\times S$

$160m=4\times S$

$\Rightarrow \frac{160}{4}=S$

$\therefore S=40cm$

Area $=40\times 40=1600m^2$

$\therefore$ Area of square $=1600m^2$

$\therefore$ Area of parallelogram$=Base\times height$

$1600=B\times 20$

$\frac{1600}{20}=B$

$B=80$

$\therefore$ corresponding base of the parallelogram is $80m.$
