Given,

Area of rectangle $A = x^{2} + 7 x + 12$

Length $L = x + 3$

Breadth $B = ?$

Area of rectangle $A = L \times B$

$\Rightarrow x^{2} + 7 x + 12 = (x + 2) \times B$

$\Rightarrow B = \frac{x^{2} + 7 x + 12}{x + 3}$

$= \frac{2^{2} + 7 (2) + 12}{2 + 3} = \frac{30}{5}$

$∴ B r e a d t h = 6$
