The correct option is B 3.5 cm
Let the radii of the bigger and smaller circles be R cm and r cm, respectively.
Now, Area of the bigger circle =πR2
1386=227×R2
R2=1386×722
R2=441
R=21
Radius of bigger circle (R)=21 cm
Similarly, Area of the smaller circle =πr2
962.5=227×r2
r2=962.5×722
r2=306.25
r=17.5
Radius of smaller circle (r)=17.5 cm
Hence, Width of Ring =Rr=2117.5=3.5 cm
Thus, D is the correct option.
