Area of the two semi-circles =12(πr2)+12(πr2)=π×r2=227×7×7=154 cm2

Width of the rectangular part = Diameter of the circular part = 14 cm

Area of rectangular part =length×breadth=(10×14) cm2=140 cm2

Total area = Area of the two semi-circles + Area of the rectangle =(154+140) cm2=294 cm2
