The area of the rectangle is given by the product of its length and breadth. The length of a rectangle is two-thirds of its breadth. Find its area, if its breadth is x.

The breadth (b) is given as x.

Also, given that the length is two-thirds of its breadth, i.e, l=2/3x

We know that The area of the rectangle is the product of its length and breadth

So,Area=l×b=2/3x×x=2/3x2

Thus, the area of rectangle is equal to 2/3x2.
