Area of the right angles triangle =12×b×hwherebisthebaseandheightistheheightofthetriangle.

216=12×24×h(histhedistanceofthecorrespondingvertexfromtheside.)h=216×224h=9×2h=18cm.

Hence, the height of the triangle is 18cm.
