Solution

The correct option is B phyllotaxy
The pattern of arrangement of leaves on the stem is called phyllotaxy. There are three types of phyllotaxy, i.e., alternate (Hibiscus), opposite (Calotropis, Guava) and whorled (Alstonia).

The arrangement of veins and veinlets in the lamina of leaf is called venation.

Venation is the formation of new leaves or fronds. In ferns, the frond or leaf is tightly coiled during its formation so as to protect the tender growing tip. The leaf slowly starts to uncoil during favourable conditions. This type of leaf formation in ferns is called circinate venation.
