The arrangement to store two bar magnets is shown by figures. Which one of them is the correct arrangement?
Magnets become weak if they are not stored properly. In case of bar magnets, to keep them from losing their magnetism, these bar magnets should be kept in pairs with their unlike poles on the same side. They must be separated by a piece of wood while two pieces of soft iron (shown as metal plates in the figure) should be placed across their ends.
