Solution
Water is the largest constituent of the human body, whose specific heat capacity is 4.186Jg−1°C−1. And it has a high specific heat capacity, which is defined as the amount of heat needed to raise the temperature of one gram of a substance by one degree Celsius. Because of its high heat capacity, water can minimize changes in temperature. Hence, water in human body distributes the heat. Hence, human body temperature remains more or less constant.
