Let the manager's salary be $x$

Average salary of 20 workers = ₹ 45900

$\Rightarrow \frac{s u m}{20} = 45900 \Rightarrow s u m = ₹ 918000$

When the manager's salary is added, the new sum becomes ₹( $918000 + x$ ) and the new mean is ₹ 49200

$\frac{918000 + x}{21} = 49200 918000 + x = 1033200 x = ₹ 115200$
