$A v e r a g e = \frac{S u m o f a l l q u a n t i t i e s}{N u m b e r o f q u a n t i t i e s}$
$25 = \frac{S u m o f a l l q u a n t i t i e s}{5}$
Sum of all quantitiess = 25 $\times$ 5 = 125 $[1 m a r k]$
Given, 10 is added to each number
$⟹$ New sum= (old sum )+ ( 10 $\times$ Number of quantities)
= 125+ (10 $\times$ 5) = 125+50 = 175
$∴$ New average= $\frac{N e w s u m}{5}$ = $\frac{175}{5}$ = 35 $[1 m a r k]$
