The correct option is C 46
Given, average=50
$\frac{S u m o f a l l n u m b e r s}{5}$ =50
$⟹$ Sum of all numbers = 50 $\times$ 5 = 250
But, 40 was incorrectly written as 60 so the correct sum = (Sum of all numbers) - 60+ 40
=250- 60+ 40 = 230
$∴$ Correct average = $\frac{230}{5}$ = 46.
