Solution
Let first, second and third numbers be x,y and z.
According to the question,
⇒x+y2=25+y+z2
⇒x+y2−(y+z)2=25
⇒x+y−y−z2=25
⇒x−z=50
∴ The difference between the first and the third number is 50
