Solution

The correct option is D 10
Let the sex numbers be x1,x2,x3,x4,x5,x6
Average of six number is 30
x1+x2+x3+x4+x5+x66=30
x1+x2+x3+x4+x5+x6=180 -------- ( 1 )
Average of first four number is 25
x1+x2+x3+x44=25
x1+x2+x3+x4=100 ---------- ( 2 )
Subtracting ( 2 ) from ( 1 ) we get,
x5+x6=80 -------- ( 3 )
Average of last three numbers is 30
x4+x5+x63=30
x4+x5+x6=90 ------- ( 4 )
Now, subtracting ( 3 ) from ( 1 ) we get,
x4=10
The fourth number is 10.
