Solution:-
Given:- Average of x numbers = 3x
Sum of numersx=3x
Sum of numbers=3x2
If each no. is subtracted from (x1) we get
sum of numbers after subtracting (x1) = Sum of numbersx(x1)
=3x2x(x1)
=3x2x2+x=2x2+x
New average = Sum of numbers after subtracting(x1)from eachx
=2x2+xx=2x+1
