Solution

The correct option is B Rs. 10, Rs, 16
Total price of the two books =12×1011.75×8
=12094
=Rs.26
Let the price of one book be Rs.x
Then,
The price of other book =x+60% of x
=x+35x
=85x
So, x+85x=26
135x=26
x=26×513
x=10
85x=85×10=16
The price of the two books are Rs.10 and Rs.16.
