Let the required length of bacteria be x.

Given, when bacteria enlarges 60000 times the length it attains = 3cm.

As the number of times bacteria gets enlarged its length gets increased. So it is in direct proportion.

60000 × x = 10000 × 3 (by cross-multiplicaction)

x = 3 × 1000060000

x = 0.5 cm
