The correct option is A 1
The number of male workers in $2003 = 5$ ,
the number of male workers in $2004 = 7$ and
the number of male workers in $2005 = 9$ .
So the total of male workers in $3 y r s . = 5 + 7 + 9 = 21$ .
Again The number of female workers in $2003 = 8$ ,
the number of female workers in $2004 = 9$ and
the number of female workers in $2005 = 5$ .
So the total of female workers in $3 y r s . = 8 + 9 + 5 = 22$ .
$∴$ The difference between the male & female workers $= 22 - 21 = 1$ .
