The base and height of a triangle are in the ratio 2 : 3 and its area is 300 m². Find the height of the triangle?

Let the base of the triangle be 2k and height be 3k.

Area of a triangle = 1/2 x base x height
So,
=> Area of the triangle = 1/2 x 2k x 3k = 3 (k^2)
=> 300 = 3 (k^2)
=> k^2 = 100
=> k = 10

Therefore, height of the triangle = 3k = 3 x 10 = 30 cm.
