The correct option is A 60cm2
Let ABC is a right angled triangle at B
Base=BC=6cm
HypotenuseAC=10cm
Using Pythagoras theorem,
AC2=AB2+BC2AB2=AC2BC2=10262=10036AB=64=8cm
Altitude=AB=8 cm
Now , Area of triangle =12×base×altitude
=12×6×8=24cm2
