The correct option is D 100π cm2
Given, area of the base =25π cm2 and height of the can(h)=10 cm
Let, the radius of the cold drink can is r

Area of the base =πr2
25π=πr2 (given)
Divide both sides by π
25ππ=πr2π
25=r2
Taking square root both sides
25=r2
r=±5
r=5 (Radius of a cylinder can not be negative r=5 is rejected)

The curved surface area of the cylinder =2πrh
=2π×5×10
=2π×50
=100π cm2

Option (d.) is the correct choice.
