The base of a prism is a quadrilateral of sides 5 cm, 7 cm, 2 cm and 10 cm respectively. If the height of the prism is 50 cm, then find the lateral surface area of the prism.
Lateral surface area of a prism = Perimeter of the base × height
Now, perimeter of the base
=(5+7+2+10) cm=24 cm
So, lateral surface area =24×50
=1200 cm2
