The base of a prism is triangular in shape with sides 3cm, 4cm and 5cm. Find the volume of the prism if its height is 10cm.

Vol. of ular prism =
Area of ular base × height.
Area of triangular base =
area of triangle PQR
By heron's formula.
S=S(sa)(sb)(sc)
where S=a+b+c2
AreaofPQR=
S=3+4+52=6
S=6(63)(64)(65)
=3×2×3×2×1
=6cm2
vol. of Prism =6×10
=60cm3Answer.
