We are given with a right-angled triangle whose measures are
Base =48cm
Hypotenuse =50cm
Using Pythagoras Theorem:
Hypotenuse2= Base2+ Perpendicular2
502=482+ Perpendicular2
or Perpendicular 2=25002304=196
or Perpendicular =14cm
Now,
Area of a triangle =12×Base×Height
=12×48cm×14cm
=336cm2
