Let PQR be an isosceles triangle and PXQR.
Now,
Area of triangle =48 cm2 12×QR×PX = 48h =9616=6 cmAlso, QX = 12×24 = 12 cm and PX = 12 cm
PQ=QX2+PX2a=82+62=64+36=100=10 cm

∴ Perimeter = (10 + 10 + 16) cm = 36 cm
