Solution
The correct option is C
Glomerulus
The basic filtration process in the kidney occurs in the glomerulus. The glomerulus consists of a tuft of capillaries. It is held by a cup shaped cluster called the Bowman's capsule. The capillary in close proximity to the Bowman's capsule is called glomerulus capillary. This has a narrower lumen as compared to the capillary entering the glomerulus. This difference in diameter provides the necessary pressure for filteration through specialised cells of the Bowman's capsule.
