Let teh tension in the section of string between 6 kg and 8 kg mass be T1 and tenstion between the 8 kg and 4 kg mass be T2
Assuming ace;eration of systm as a we have for :
(i) 6 kg mass T16g=6a(1)
(ii) 8 kg mass T2+8gT1=8a(2)
(iii) 4 kg mass 4gT2=4a(3)
from equation (3) T2=4g4a(4), substituting in equation (2) we get :
12g4aT1=8aT1=12g12a
Substituting this value in equation (1) we get :
6g12a=6a18a=6g
a=g3
Hence equation (4) becomes :
T2=4g4g3=8g3=803N
